That’s the point, you are not. Any sane project has the four gradle wrapper files that define for which version of gradle a build is designed and known working with, and the wrapper takes care to use exactly. I used to run this project last year (around nov) with no issues but i upgraded.

So you run a gradle version with java 21 that does not support running on java 21. Gradle 8.14 will support jdk 24 and final version should be released soon (at the moment you can use 8.14 release candidate 2, see links above).
